Main shirt sponsor of England Women

Burton Brothers Builders have been announced as main shirt sponsor of the England Women’s 6-a-side team for the WMF World Cups in Mali Lošinj, Croatia and beyond.

A message from Robert Burton

Speaking to GBMFU, Robert Burton, owner of the company, said:

“Being part of a team is exactly what attracted Burton Brothers Builders to sponsor the England women’s 6 a side football squad. Working through as a team to reach the end vision is how the family building company has served its London based clients for the last 75 years.

All teams require support and structure to optimise outcome. Each member collectively pushing themselves to reach the best possible outcome. Whether it’s a property maintenance team, or the women’s 6 aside team, every single member is an important part of a shared vision.

It is a privilege to support women’s football, as well as seeing more women in our industry. A vision that the family is passionate about and has grabbed the amazing opportunity to really make a difference to this squad.

Burton Brothers Builders wishes to offer all the luck in the world to this amazing squad in the 6 aside World Cup.”

Support extended to England Men’s U23

GBMFU President, Mark Staines, also said of the news:

“We’re delighted to have Burton Brothers Builders on board, in dealing with them, and Rob in particular, they’ve shown that they really want to support the girls at the World Cup and without the help of companies like them, it wouldn’t be possible. Burton Brothers Builders are part of a team themselves so they know what’s it’s like to build a team from scratch and the obstacles along the way, so they’ve offered their support and in doing so they’ve provided a great platform for the girls, and in return to show our support to them and our appreciation, we’ve extended the agreement to cover the men’s U23 team for their WMF World Cup as well and then afterwards, Rob and myself will sit down and discuss the plans for the future!”
